Retreat
Dates:
The retreat begins Thursday
evening, June 4th and ends Sunday, after lunch, June 7th.
Meals:
No dinner the
first night (we provide snacks) then all meals through lunch on Sunday.

To find the conference room:
From the
parking lot head
toward the overhang with sign saying Guest Entrance. It will be on the first
floor (bottom level). There will be an easel with the name of our group –
“Writers Retreat.” Stairs are immediately on the right. The elevator (very
small) is ¾ way down the hall on the right beyond the easel. The easel will
list the names of our two meeting rooms – Bouchard and Litchfield. First
meeting will be held in Bouchard.

Note, Wisdom
House assures us they will issue refunds for a valid emergency - but if the
matter is in dispute you will have to negotiate with them directly.

made to Wisdom House directly. They're the ones holding your money. |
The conference affords many opportunities for
writing, networking, or just appreciating the scenery. The rooms are on
the Spartan side but the food and the conversation - or the solitude (your
choice) - is plentiful. Activities include: formal workshops (see
Presenters page), informal "free-writes" and "guerilla workshops", drinking
coffee and a Saturday night "share". We ask no more of you than an
elementary respect for other conferees and what work you wish to share
